Just popping in really quickly to say hello — and goodbye!
I’m leaving today to spend the evening in Salt Lake City with a few lovely ladies — Becky of course who I have already traveled with several times, as well as some new faces: Julie, Julie, Kim, Amanda, Lindsay, Alex and Mollie. Then tomorrow, we head up to Park City!
Last night after my Ultimate Frisbee game, I hurriedly packed my bag at like 11pm and packed WAYYY too much. Luckily, I had some time this morning to take everything out and try again. I still definitely over-packed for 3.5 days, but at least I’m not bringing 6 sports bras, 2 bikinis, and 5 pairs of shorts like I was going to originally 😉
I’m hoping to get some time at the airport or during my flight to catch up or read up on everyone’s blogs — I have been SO busy lately that I haven’t been able to keep up with blog reading. I just know I’ll be that annoying person who says to someone, “Oh, so do you like to run?” and then the person is like, “Um YEAH, I just finished an Ultra Marathon and have been posting about nothing else for the past month!”
…so, I apologize in advance 😉 However, if last year was any indication, it is much more fun to get to know each other in person!

Goal of this weekend: PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN. Also, it kind of depresses me to see how much skinnier my face was a year ago. Maybe I just had the ~angles~ down?

Last year, we discovered a phenomenon I can only define as HIPSTER BROS. It seemed like a huge majority of local Park City inhabitants dressed like hipsters…but talked and acted like bros.
With an injured foot this time around (and a sunnier forecast) I’m hoping to spend a LOT of time by this pool!

I got the OK from my doctor today to start easing back into exercise as long as I’m not in pain. I think running and jumping is probably not in the cards for me, but I’m definitely bringin’ my workout attire with me!
It’s kind of crazy to think about how much has happened since last year — I’m no longer in a long-term relationship, I have a new job, have run two 10ks and a HALF MARATHON, and I’m busier than ever. I can’t wait to catch up with everyone and see what has changed in their lives as well!
