5 Random Internet Things I Loved This Week

How’s that for a long title?

I have been quite busy at work these past few days (see this tweet and this one) and haven’t had time to upload pictures from my camera of some of the food I’ve been wanting to share. So instead, I’m going to share with you what I found online this week. Just be thankful I narrowed it down to five things, and left out the article about the man with the 100 pound scrotum. (true story!)

1) Sh*t Shoshanna Says

For all you Girls lovers… Shoshanna rules.

2) The Little I Know About Food Bloggin’

Great advice for those (like myself) looking to get more into food blogging!

3) These sunglasses from Shop Chic Stud

I have been waiting to make a purchase at this awesome store and I finally did it! Me stepping on my back-up pair of sunglasses the other day was the last straw- I need some new sunnies! Maybe next I’ll get one of her studded bikinis or bustiers! Hmmmm…

4) The EWG’s 2012 Shoppers Guide to Pesticides in Produce

Who knew that apples, celery and bell peppers were the dirtiest produce (in terms of pesticides)?! This guide breaks down which fruits and veggies you should buy organic to avoid contamination, and which ones are safe to buy from the regular section of the supermarket.

5) How to Cut a Wine Bottle

This one was definitely a Pinterest find 😛 My boyfriend and I both love storing wine and beer bottles as keepsakes, and my roommate recently got a bottle of wine with her name on it (Hanna) — I thought this would be a really cute way for us to save her special bottle, and make it useful in our apartment too!

Another thing I came across this week was an e-mail that reminded me that today (June 22nd) is the 1 year anniversary of my friend Lisa and I joining Xoso Sport & Social League, which meeeeans it’s the 1 year anniversary of T-Man and I meeting! It wasn’t love at first sight though – that first night, he spent part of the evening criticizing the state senator I worked for! In the weeks and months that followed, I realized I actually liked that political and opinionated side to him, and the rest is history!
